I'd like to start by saying I'm a mechanical engineer in the aerospace industry so I know a thing or two about manufacturing. There are a number of annoying things about this product that can be easily and fairly inexpensively fixed to greatly improve its quality and make it a five star product. 1. Grinding noise: metal on metal of the bottle thread cuts into the ears and is noticeable. Adding plastic threads on one side would fix this.2. Handle falls off: The D-shaped handle falls easily in your hand when you open the bottle. This can easily be fixed by additional crimping after installation.3. Bamboo cap falls off: The decorative bamboo cap is barely held by the handle and rotates freely, making the bottle difficult to open. This can be fixed by adding a drop of glue or epoxy to hold it in place. The seal wears out: After a few dozen openings and closings, the soft elastomer of the sealing ring begins to break through shear. This can be partially corrected by using a harder o-ring material, perhaps with a different cross-section to increase the contact area. Lower Padding: Increase the depth of the lower padding.
