Clorox wipes were ordered on 06/12/2021. Production dates are in August 2020. The shelf life of these products is one year, so they are only valid until August 2021, which is only three months from the order date. This is totally unacceptable, especially during a pandemic. Since disinfectant wipes are now commercially available, I strongly recommend not buying them online so you can check the date of manufacture. One year of effectiveness begins with the date of manufacture printed in black on the side near the bottom of the Clorox wipes packet. For example, the stamp says: MR 19331 03 11 1A 5813-GA-4 The first set of numbers after the first two letters indicates when the product was manufactured. . In this case, the important number is 19331. According to the Clorox website, the first number is the year and the remaining digits are the day. So 19 indicates 2019 and 331 is the 331st day of that year. A quick Google search shows it was November 27, 2019. Since the expiry date is one year, we know that this particular pack of tissues will expire on November 27th, 2020.
