I like the cool retro vibe of this keyboard. The lighting on it is really attractive, especially the way the multicolored lights reflect off the chrome on the keys. There are multiple lighting effects you can adjust, including dimming, but I like the constant light the most. The keys are high up so I hit a lot of wrong keys initially until I got used to it. I have another typewriter keyboard, like this one; The keys have more padding, which I prefer. It's more convenient. I'm not a type fan. Some keys are difficult to read when backlit. Impossible to read if not. Feels a little firmer than standard keyboards. It's definitely mechanical. And loud. This can upset your partner or co-workers in the same room, so keep that in mind. It worked well with Win 7 and Win 8.1 computers. No problems with detection connected via USB. It looks very pretty on the table and I smile every time I walk past it.
