Review on 🔊 High-Performance 12 AWG 30ft Speaker Wire by InstallGear - True Spec and Soft Touch Cable in Red/Black by Sri Mims

After upgrading my projector (BenQ HT3550) and receiver (Onkyo TX-NR686), I wanted to rearrange the speaker wiring and run it along the walls and ceiling instead half lying. I needed longer cables for this and ended up buying a strand of this true 12GA copper clad aluminum (CCA) speaker cable. I bought them for the main reason for their cost: I was concerned about the sound quality at first, so I went online to research the sound quality of the CCA cables before buying them. In fact, I found that this provides the same resistance as 14GA of all copper wire (you lose 2GA compared to all copper wire), and I was okay with that. Oxidation seems to be a problem with all materials including copper, silver, aluminium, so we use gold plated connectors at each end, although gold is not a very good conductor it does not oxidize. All in all, after setting everything up and playing a 4K Blu-ray with Dolby ATMOS audio, I was very pleased with how clear and crisp it sounded! Now I am a very satisfied customer.
