Daughter got this curling iron for Christmas. Was excited to try this because she has VERY long thick hair that can never hold a curl/wave. She tried curlers, single curlers, single curlers, etc. but couldn't manage to hold a curl for more than an hour or two. These curling irons are more like beach-style waves, but that's where it's 'in' right now. She was happy with the results! We knew we had to curl her straight, long, thick hair in small increments to even stand a chance. This picture shows what the waves look like after she has worked her whole head. (It took about 30 minutes) It was around noon. When she went to bed her hair looked the same. When she woke up the next morning and combed it, the slight wave was still visible, but it looked more like she just had naturally wavy hair, if that makes any sense. All in all a good buy and she will use it again when she wants a beachy wave. Watch.
