Works fine. I need this to burn CDs. However, be careful. Some of the details "suggested" here by the photographic image are misleading. For example, there is no stand included in the box, and you won't know that such features are "optional" until you receive the product and read about it in the accompanying documents. You should probably also keep in mind that behind the product description there is a disclaimer "sold as is" and a printed "no returns" which escaped my attention until I received it and tried to verify the missing ones Components were actually the seller's fault. The answer, by proxy, was "no". Disappointing. So yes, it does what I need, but in the end I was able to buy what I got (rather than what I thought I was buying) for significantly less money. Even right here on Amazon.
