If you're looking for a utility knife for slicing watermelon or other fruit, stop and look elsewhere. The ergonomic and thick handle, comfortable to hold, creates a large angle between the cutting part of the channel knife and the surface you want to carve, so you can't really dig into the surface you want to carve. Imagine holding a pen or pencil almost parallel to the writing surface; This is the experience of using it.
