I needed a last minute dress for my granddaughter to wear to my mother's funeral and I ordered this dress in navy blue. (My mom never liked it when little kids wore black.) I wanted a dress my mom would love, something she would be proud to sew herself as a professional seamstress, and let me tell you, I did was impressed! The lace pad weight was not flimsy at all, very well made. It fits my 2 year old baby perfectly! Future grandmothers counted on a dress.
