Ears for their money were good, took for 2.8 thousand at one time. Now I would not give more than 4 thousand for them in principle. As ears from the Sennheisers - not bad, one of the few that are generally worth their money, with an eye to the fact that they are not entirely for music, but rather for work, moreover, in difficult - extreme conditions, and all the consequences. For this money, you can find much more worthy copies from other companies for the home, for the street, and so on. You should not be fooled by a popular brand, a number of companies have copies that sound noticeably better, the same audio equipment, Sony, ACG, beer, in general, almost all companies. Paying attention to Senhi is worth it only when you have listened to all the other firms, and decided that it was them - a very specific Senheiser sound that suits you. Study the forums, Senhi in terms of price / quality ratio lose miserably to almost everyone. And although this model turned out to be average in this sense, closer to good, but because of the pressure on the head, it is absolutely not suitable for home use, these headphones are for work, in this case a pro set-top box, not marketing.

Pros

Absolutely indestructible, I won’t even describe what I didn’t do with them, but at the same time there aren’t even scratches, and they are already 6-8 years old, a product of the 90s, in fact, when they did it from the heart, and not in order to work a couple from strength years, then to sell a new one. I would even say so, the most reliable and indestructible thing that I have ever had, at least the ears from the old batches, was holding a silver in my hands, it looks more gentle, but maybe I'm wrong. Not bad, Sennheiser sounding, probably suitable for monitoring anyone, electronics sound very good. Excellent soundproofing.

Cons

The sound is too monitor, I would say - sound engineering, in my opinion the middle sticks out, and this cannot be removed in any way, because it is done in order to listen well to all sorts of flaws in the voice, especially in the middle range. The bass is there, but it is not enough, when you want a little more - wheezing begins. Extremely strong pressure on the head, the maximum allowable in general according to the standard. They are imprinted very strongly, both from the top and sides, in general, the head starts to hurt very badly after them, in the summer sweat pours out of the ears, it is physically difficult to sit for more than 2-3 hours, and lately even less, comfort is very lacking. They are more for work in difficult conditions, and not for comfort, everything in them, in general, says so.
