I buy to record PS4 gameplay and the quality is pretty good, looks the same as during the game, not 60 fps, but records smoothly, hevc/ h.265 is an excellent codec with a compact file size. This device has line-in, line-out and microphone-in, you can record your own and other people's voice in a chat if you buy multiple cables. If you want to record something copy-protected, you need to buy a cheap HDMI splitter. Check the picture for size reference.
