I bought these glasses for my granddaughter who spends too much time staring at the iPad screen. While I'm trying to limit the time she spends under blue light to the time she actually spends, I like to think we're protecting her macula and general vision. I worry that this generation will be exposed to harmful devices so often (in more ways than one!) that they will suffer eye damage at a much earlier age than previous generations. This gives me the certainty that I can limit potential damage. . Your use of the iPad is linked to the use of these glasses. If I see her using an iPad or computer without safety glasses, she loses her privileges.
