Review on 🔌 O'SKOOL 6.5-inch Router Acrylic Base Plate for Porter-Cable, Ryobi, Bosch, Makita, Hitachi, Dewalt by Bohyun Hansen

I bought this to replace the fixed base plate on my Bosch router. The original is made of opaque black plastic, making it very difficult to use a router with a template guide. This transparent base is a big improvement. It was easy to install. It is configured to use regular Porter cable guides instead of Bosch guides. The plate is thicker than the original and about 1/2 inch larger in diameter. Of course, this depends on the specific router, since it is suitable for many routers. The only "problem" is that with the baseplate installed, the router will not fit in the supplied case. Regardless, it's a big improvement over the base OEM board.
