Review on Califone 2810-PA Panda Design Listening First Kids Stereo Headphones, Compatible with PC and Apple Devices by Teresa Olson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Both my boys love them!

My boys aged 4 and 11 got an iPod touch for their birthday this year. Does anyone use normal headphones? My oldest has had a cheap MP3 player since he was 5 and hated the headphones that came with it. So we have a cheap pair of over-ear headphones from Sony. The sound was okay, but the adjustable slider on the head kept slipping, and because the cord went to both ears, it tended to twist things and practically choke itself with the cord. Then the foam began to tear and eventually one of the ear cups broke off the stem. But kids generally don't like headphones. Knowing this, I set out to find it. My list of requirements for headphones: Slight headband adjustment. ears to ears. on the other hand). Cable volume switch. Decent sound (didn't plan to pay Beats or Bose prices for baby products!). Less than $25 per person. colorful or cute. They meet all requirements. I was concerned they weren't adjustable enough to fit my 11 year old. They have about 2 inches of travel adjustment on each side behind the ear cuffs on the slider (4 inches total) and when I did both on the highest setting the phones fitted me (mum, 37) right where they should sit. They are therefore suitable for a wide variety of head sizes. They don't fold (which would annoy unrelated children), they have 1 cord, a volume control and a standard plug. Light! It's cute to download!
