These are my favorite sandals of all time but the straps can change in length from year to year. I bought my first pair 6 years ago and the straps were long enough. They fit me perfectly. I bought an extra pair after 2 years and the straps were not that long but still long enough for me. I bought a third pair last year and the straps are much shorter than the other two. I'm not sure if the length of the strap or the placement of the velcro really changed, but when I attached them there was a loose 1-1/2 inch wide hook section on the strap. I don't have that with the other two top pairs. What's happening? As I can sew and have a machine that can handle heavy use I ended up removing part of the hook so the whole hook wasn't visible when choosing. My 6 year old pair eventually wore out so I bought in fourth pair to replace this year. That's the pair I'm considering right now. The length of the straps is somewhere between my first pair and the pair I bought last year. So they're better than last year, but they don't look like the originals. In general I think they are suitable for a narrower foot. I have a medium foot but have a high instep and a problem with bunions so I need more strap length throughout the sandal than most medium width people. if you have foot problems (I also have high arches which makes me prone to plantar fasciitis). Other Teva models don't seem to have the same insoles as these and it makes my feet happy. I wear them every day, all day during the summer months. These are my "slippers” and sandals for shopping. If only they could determine the length of the strap!
