They are a good fit for me; I get dress shirts with a 33" sleeve length. The mild compression felt good on my arms, and even the dark blue color didn't feel hot when biking in summer heat. They tolerated washing well, although I would place them in a net bag for protection in the washer, and placed them on a rod to dry instead of dryer cycle.I got these mainly for sunburn protection, and they seem to protect well. I will even use on one arm when driving to protect it from the sun coming in the driver side window.
