All I’m looking for is a simple zippered case for protecting the finish on my brand new 13” MacBook Pro from being damaged while being carried inside my backpack. This case is more than adequate for that purpose. The MacBook Pro fits a little loose inside the case, but there’s lots of padding to keep it from moving around. The retractable handle isn’t an absolute necessity for my use case, but does provide some convenience when removing the case from the backpack. The case includes a flimsy accessory pouch made from thin, cheap-looking material. It’s utterly useless in my opinion. Not sure why the manufacturer included it. But the case is nice, and does what I need.
