I bought these shoes for my 18 month old grandson who wears a size 5 and is almost ready for a size 6. They fit very well, maybe with some wiggle room, so they should fit him this winter season and they keep his feet warm. They are very well made and well padded on all sides, including the soles. The soles are made of non-slip material, but the first time I put them on him he ran into the kitchen, slipped on the tile floor and landed on his croup. This was the only time this happened.
