I bought this product a few days ago to use with my new GoPro Hero 8 camera Videos of my future trips. At first, I was most concerned about the selfie stick and tripod. Unfortunately I wasn't too impressed. The tripod doesn't seem very stable to stand alone. It also appears that the selfie stick can be attached to a tripod, giving the user a wider angle for photos and videos. However, when I attach my GoPro to the tripod + selfie stick combo, it becomes apparent how unstable it is. For such a reasonable price I would recommend it to a beginner. Unfortunately, I may have to consider buying a GoPro 3 mount for a tripod and selfie stick combo.
