These are a great, ergonomic pair of anvil shears, the only issue I have is that the lock is difficult to engage/disengage. My big, fat fingers don't fit into the small space where the lock is, so I have to find a makeshift tool to lock and unlock the latch, and even then I find the motion to unlock is a bit stubborn or finicky. But, I got them to cut and they do that well. My old pair didn't lock at all anymore, so this is an improvement, or I can just not lock them and they are the same, but better at cutting.
