This "silent butler" works great. The reason I gave it a 4 is because of the extremely poor recommendations. Obviously they didn't use an interpreter who understands English. It took me quite a while to figure out how to open the unit to insert the batteries as the instructions show pushing it forward and not twisting it. Opening the gathering area was easy. To open the battery compartment you have to turn the top. It takes quite a bit of "thrust" to move it. Once you figure it out, it's easy to open. You then rotate it to reassemble it after inserting the batteries. We've used it quite a bit and enjoy the job it does.
