Husky inserts (contour) under clutch pedal worn out in 14 months. The low-flex WeatherTech plastic canister is good for the cargo but not for the driver, especially the sound of plastic when the clutch pedal hits the ground. The Maxpider is class - there is wear (the camber pattern is smooth now) under the clutch pedal, but it's nowhere near wear (about a year) - I think because of the cushioning the midsole provides. However, I know that it wears out before the car life is over. There is no gear shift and the landing is even better. In comparison, the look is appealing, but I don't like the application of the logo. These mats don't hold as much fluid as others - the husky wins this before the hole. Husky's lifetime guarantee requires them to send in the damaged mat (set) - the pictures aren't good enough. Still, I think all floor mat manufacturers should consider reinforcing the impact zone, especially under the clutch pedal. Please also consider manual trans drivers. The sound of the Maxpider hitch hitting the ground is less than others - not as good as floor mats.
