Review on Philips OneBlade trimmer QP2520/20, black/salad by Aneta Budziska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The product did not disappoint, the quality pleases.

I bought it and immediately tried it on a weekly stubble. Shaved (shorn?) Dry. I cleared my cheeks and lips almost immediately, but I had to tinker with my chin. My hair there does not grow from top to bottom, but from left to right, plus they love to grow into the skin, which forced me to walk 5-7 times in one place. But, in the end, the result is almost the same as with the machine. Less irritation than with the machine, but still felt. I also trimmed my beard - nothing supernatural, the result is like from an ordinary typewriter (although an ordinary typewriter is noticeably heavier). Shaved hair was everywhere. They flew into the nose and eyes. In short, you should try to shave with gel. The design of the razor allows this. Addition. Wet shave. Compared to a conventional machine, which is enough to pass one or two times, this non-razor has to crawl a little more in one place, because it skips hairs. If the machine immediately removes the gel / foam after swiping it, then this non-razor leaves a mess of hairs and foam, so it's not immediately clear whether they are shaved or not. Again, you have to spend it several times. The result of shaving depends on the number of passes. There was also a small nuance: there were several . cuts on the neck! Either I have such a neck, or my hands are crooked, or such an unshaven. The cuts, of course, are small and the blood almost did not flow, but "the sediment remained." There was no such nonsense on dry land. In general, I will continue to use it and get used to it, because I still like it more than the machine.

Pros
  • The first - the declared functions performs. See comment. The second is the price. At first glance, the machine will cost less, but even the cheapest set for Mac3 for 4 blades costs 800, which is enough for the same 4 months, but you can’t trim your beard with them! And now, when registering a product, they give a 50% discount on blades - in general, a gift! Plus, until August, a promotion is held where it is really possible to win three more blades. The third is weight. Compared to other machines, this one is simply weightless (including charging).
Cons
  • It is difficult to cope with non-standard growing hairs. The head is movable in only one axis. Doesn't work when connected to charger. This is more related to marketing, but I would take the base model if it had a nozzle for 5 mm bristles. And there are quite a few shops that sell it.

With its pros. lightness and compactness speed shaving quality Cons below: pretty hard to shave with attachments but seems like a common hairdressing problem the problem with all trimmers is flying hair
