Bought on the advice of a friend who admittedly only has 1. We wanted 2 to have one on the patio and one on the patio. below deck to play music during parties. The volume is excellent. Linking is easy. The battery life is excellent. The only problem is that once they're more than 10 feet apart, they can't stay connected. I set everything up and right there one of them (the one linked to the first one) randomly shut down. It turns off for 30 seconds, then plays a few minutes, then turns off for half a song, then plays 2 songs, etc. It's a transmission issue. Nothing helped. Made everyone crazy at the party. I was about to turn off one and turn up the volume on the other when it started raining. We entered the house. Wow, once the two speakers were placed side by side on the table they worked flawlessly. Of course you don't need 2 in the same room. So basically we now have 1 party speaker and 1 as a backup speaker or travel speaker. Luckily I bought them with a 50% discount otherwise I would have sent them both back I was so upset.
