Probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn! I was a little worried about buying shoes on the internet because of course you can't try them on, but everything worked out. I wear an 8 on some shoes and an 8.5 on others, depending on the manufacturer. These shoes were a size 8-8.5 so I figured at such a low price I couldn't go wrong. Good choice! These shoes are wonderful. They arrived two days later. They came in their own little carry case which was nice. I bought these for tai chi and haven't had enough to report things like elastic or stitching, but if these shoes last a semester I'll buy another pair for everyday wear. I love her. The soles feel quite thick and sturdy and the ribs they used for the side/top panels are nice and wide. If you need arch support, or are over- or underpronated and plan on wearing them for a long period of time, you can slip in your favorite insoles. I'm still awaiting a response from the seller on washing, but I'm assuming they look like typical canvas "boats". They can be washed and dried by stuffing with a cloth and air drying or in a dryer on a "cold" setting. I have successfully washed canvas pumps this way in the past. With any luck, the seller can confirm that they are washable. I am already planning to buy another pair or two and the friend who tried them on is also planning to buy them. At this price you really can't go wrong. If they last as long as the typical cheap Wal-Mart sneakers, I can wear them for 6-8 months and have happy feet the whole time.
