I'd say you get what you pay for, but it's barely worth $2 let alone $20. There is a lot of rough wood in the wood, which causes splinters in the hand when trying to grab the shoes. I ended up having to sand it down which is a silly thing to do after the wood is stained and finished. Also, as others have complained, the shelves have hinges in the middle to allow them to be stacked in a box. The hinges are misaligned so the two "halves" of the shelf are misaligned. It's poorly constructed and I had two wooden shelf pieces when I added the screws (using the screws and included hex key). The tops of the legs are doweled so that additional sets of the same shelves can be stacked on top of each other. However, if you don't want to stack multiple sets on top of each other, the dowels cannot be removed so they stick out. I ended up banging them. I wish I had bought this. Taking it apart to return it is quite a hassle, so I swallow the loss of a well-spent $20 and just buy something else to replace it.
