I have two different filters, sediment and activated carbon. I install the sediment filter before the water enters the activated carbon filter, so the sediment is removed before the water enters the activated carbon filter, which contributes to a longer service life. I use both types of filters from this brand in my water system. My system is now 2 1/2 years old and these filters are working fine for my groundwater quality. Every water is different, so you may get different end results. I will continue to use these filters in the future.
