Review on Superior Audio Quality EP-630 Noise-Isolating In-Ear Earphones with Deep Bass, Clear Highs, Soft Ergonomic Earbuds - Black by William Nunes

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I admit I'm a bit of a fanatic, though.

I wanted in ear sleep headphones as they fit well and my wife can't hear what I'm listening to so I just wanted something cheap to get the job done (but not too cheap, since I hate the horrible sound quality of standard/regular headphones). So my first thought was to see what the cheapest option from Creative is because I've been buying Creative products since I was 13 years old (nearly 30 now). I had 2 Creative MP3 players, 2 internal sound cards and a bluetooth speaker. And now this one. And for $20 they don't disappoint at all! I also have 2 pairs of high quality "audiophile" headphones (AKG K240 mk ii and Grado SR 325i), both over $100, so that's my benchmark for sound quality. goes. Of course, for $20 I'm not expecting anything out of the ordinary, but I confess I was IMPRESSED by the clarity and ability to hit the low notes. Of course, pricier headphones give you more options for how your music sounds, but I think it's going to be difficult to find another pair of $20 headphones that sound this good. And even if so, I personally think Creative is the way to go because they're pretty consistent in making durable products. I wanted to give a small example of how these headphones shocked me: midway through, some deep bass tones start to gently pound you. As for my desktop speakers, I have Mackie CR3s that cost over $90 and I hooked them up to an Audioengine D1 amp ($170) and the Aequus bass note is so smooth out of these speakers that she can't really get into that note. . However, these little Creative EP-630s actually ERASED that note with a lot more prominence than the CR3! I was at a loss. Those familiar with acoustics, speaker placement, frequency response, etc. might think I might be at a naught and need to make some adjustments, but I still find it quite interesting that these headphones can handle that dynamic range in all things considered. Conclusion: If you want cheap in-ear headphones, buy them. Also listen to Steven Hauschildt lol.
