Works for about 10 days, then dries up like other filter wicks.
Updated review after a 10 day break: Great product at first but wears out quickly. Works the same as Honeywell's original filter wicks, but like them and all the others I've tried, they dry quickly. I even have a water softener system and whole house filter serviced by Culligan so I know it won't be ruined by dirty water. I personally think the Honeywell humidifier design is to blame because the wick is vertical and the pool of water it draws water from is shallow. However, don't expect miracles from this wick. It takes about 2 weeks.
