My daughter wanted this for Christmas and we must do it. They are easy to assemble, adapt to the child's height and have a full foot platform. It took my daughter a few tries to learn how to just stand on it, but using a wall to help her stand up and balance seemed to help. I think most kids will figure it out pretty quickly once they figure out how to hold on to coordinate walking on them. The handles are reminiscent of a medical cane, but provide additional stability. I think the weight range for them is impressive as it suits almost all teenage kids!
