. Bought to replace and extend original Ipad cable, 10ft is very convenient for charging and using at the same time. So far so good, the cable is stiffer than the original Apple cable but also 1.5 times thicker. Both end caps are metal, more aluminum I think, and where they plug in they seem sturdier than the original Apple plastic. At the moment only time will tell but at this price if it lasts 6+ months with my 7 year old son then it's worth it.
