Generally good physical build quality. The output voltage adjustment knobs are smooth and precise. Comfortable to hold, not dangling. I checked the output voltage with a multimeter and it does what it's supposed to. My only complaint, however, is the quick-release clamps for the exit. They are too small and bulky. If you have something that fits, it doesn't seem very secure. If you have something like the cigarette lighter adapter I was planning to use, it might just have wires too big to even fit. If the terminals were changed to some sort of stronger screw terminals or something like that, it would be a lot easier for me to connect this device to the rest of my project. You'll probably want to use the USB output and get a connecting cable. or cut an old USB cable and trace the wires by hand, which is less convenient than just plugging the + and - into the terminals. It's a little scary having a "regular" USB port that puts out 30 volts when you can mix up the cable and accidentally plug a regular USB device into it. To be honest this is the only thing I would change to move up to a 5 star rating. This is *almost* the perfect power supply for a small lab micro lab.
