15-minute DVD gameplay

I was disappointed with this DVD game. The computer graphics used in it were good, but the content was boring. It consists of about 7 mini-games. Some examples: - A memory-style card game. It was ok - a simple maze game where you have to make your way through 2 choices. It was too simplistic, a Scene It game reminiscent of details from a 1990s Marvel cartoon. The cartoons were boring, as were the questions. - the quiz game (my favorite part as it used obscure questions on the hard level) - the roof jump game. It was implemented poorly. You get a first-person view of yourself jumping off a roof (is that a good idea?). And then you have to press the button at the right time without much visual cue. As a reward for completing the mini-game, you will receive a short animation about the villains' imprisonment. The animation is 3D but all characters are 2D images. This way, you'll see your favorite characters shrink, grow, or rotate. This game has no educational aspect other than trivia about Marvel superheroes. The board game aspect seemed to be added to make it more valuable. Essentially, you roll the dice to move around the board. When your cardboard figure reaches a square, play this mini game on the TV. One of the pleasant aspects was the introduction of 3 difficulty levels, allowing people of different ages to play. DVD counts too. But if you really want to see some fun use of Marvel characters, buy the Marvel Ultimate Alliance video game instead. It could be played for dozens more hours.
