Disappointed with the quality

I am very disappointed with this product (U442-Dock1) from a company like Tripp Lite. I buy their surge protectors because I know they work (I once caught a surge protector in my office and protected my gear, and the company even replaced the surge protector with no problem). The first thing I checked was the owner's manual for power consumption. A company rep pointed this out to me after I told them that I need a little over 60W (to work with an Apple 61W charger) but the manual says a maximum power consumption of 60W (in their multilingual description are contain conflicting information). User Manual, English User Manual and Specifications on their website.). I then took the unit out of the box and immediately saw that the back plate, where the (very short) input cable runs, was bent and disconnected from the unit's body. I knew right away I was going to return it, but I tried the VGA converter to see how it worked. It seemed to work fine, working in both extended mode and mirror mode on my Mac Book Pro (1 external monitor and laptop screen). I haven't tried other ports. Have contacted Revain and will be returning it for a refund. The quality is not worth the money in my experience.
