Great bags for a variety of uses. I think I've only made almond milk once in the years I've used this type of packet. Here's what I've used them for: reheating and squeezing frozen spinach, making cheese, making a giant tea bag, straining various herbal infusions, and making almond milk. I machine wash with other kitchen linens (I use natural soaps like Charlie Soap or soap nuts). If machine washing, be sure to turn it inside out so the bottom seam is inside, the threads used tend to pick up lint.
