We used them to attend a Christmas party in Winter Wonderland. Everything was blue, white and silver. I put battery powered lights on both sides of the rug for two reasons. They are cheap to buy and run.2. The sequins on the rug looked AMAZING as the light reflected off them and added a little 'extra' factor to the entryway. I LOVE the fact that this is a reusable item. My son throws parties a lot and we have bought red carpets for movie premiere themed parties and they are disposable and thrown away. Not great if you want to reuse items for other events. It is also light in weight. By no means flimsy.
