I have an Alienware M17. I was hoping it would fit 17" but it hangs down about 2" on all sides. I still give it 5 stars because it's still a great product, love that the material feels solid and there's a lot of airflow under my laptop. My laptop has some weight on the part dangling from the back. So when I hit it on the couch (my boner) it will lift up a bit and depending on how hard I hit it it might roll back. It wouldn't be a problem if I had another laptop. It would be great if I just put it on the table. Great product but if you have an m17 and don't plan on putting it on a table where it can't be hit.
