It's not as heavy as I was hoping based on the description and a similar metal shelf I have, but it was also a lot cheaper. It's way better than the one I replaced for $20, and it has wire shelves. The cheaper one had plastic cloth shelves and the bars were curved to hold it together. I didn't have any problems with it. I bought a 19.75 x 45.75 x 66 inch Whitmor case for it and it fits perfectly. My long tops are too long for the space between the hanging rods, so I'll take the middle one (update, I didn't take the pant leg because it probably won't touch my shorts when folded in half on a hanger, but the long pants are probably touching either the center bar or the bottom shelf. They were easy to put on. I managed to do this in about an hour I still made dinner. The instructions are good but the writing is very small for that grandma! The Parts are labeled which is always a plus. And no tools are needed! I tapped it with a hammer which seemed necessary. I used an old paperback book in between to avoid damaging the posts. Would recommend this. Update : Now that I've stuffed his clothes, they seem less durable than I thought. Check this out once you've put things in it. I lowered my rate ng from 4 to 3. I would probably lower it even more unless I know "you get what you pay for". After all, it is not a piece of furniture or even a pretty shelf, which I should have guessed at the price.
