Even when the ethernet cable is firmly attached, many connectors allow the ethernet cable to move around a bit. I have purchased other connectors (iMBAPrice® RJ45 Connectors - (25 pcs) Cat5e Ethernet Straight Modular Jack to Female Cable Extension Cable) that had great reviews but lost connection when pulled. I tested this with a cable tester - pull the cable and the light corresponding to the pin goes out. Note that I didn't pull hard on the cable - just enough to push the connector all the way out without disconnecting. I chose Ugreen Cat6 RJ45 connectors. These connectors were more expensive than the connectors above, but the excellent build quality was immediately noticeable. These connectors seemed to be much more durable. As I mentioned in my review of other connectors, they came loose fairly easily. I don't think that will happen with these clutches. I also tested each cable connector before connecting them to my network. These ports allowed the ethernet cable to get in and out a bit, but there was no apparent signal loss when the ethernet was pulled all the way out (without being disconnected). I plugged in my network and ran a not-so-scientific speed test in DSL Reports just to see if anything was out of the ordinary. Everything seemed normal. I then transferred a large file that needed to be transferred through a gigabit switch connected to the ports and the speed was normal (around 111MB/s). These connectors do everything I need at a reasonable price that's worth five stars to me. Now I hope they stand the test of time.
