The bluetooth pairing is quick and easy, it might take a second or 2 but is otherwise instant. The connection only cut off once since I got it but has never cut since.The battery life is much better than I was expecting. I have it on for most of my workday and it holds up well. The charging is pretty quick. A red light indicates it's charging and green when it's done.(The durability review is probably the least helpful section of this review- Sorry)The durability of the case is NOT something I have tested nor will I, but it seems like it MAY hold up. The case is a harder plastic and with an Ipad in it the weight is noticeable. While I don't intend on dropping it, for the $60 this thing cost I hope it can withstand a drop or 2.-The lightup keyboard is nice, but I have not used that feature at all.- The trackpad is decent. It does takes some getting used to but works well.
