My granddaughter asked for a music stand for Christmas, but she has mentioned several times that she would like a desk in her room. This goes well with her bed, her favorite place to do her homework and practice her guitar. Wall space for a traditional table was very limited, so we chose it because it's very compact. The underside storage is disappointing as only half of the table is accessible and the other half is used to store the heavy cable from underneath when it's not plugged in. Very easy to assemble and durable.
