I was quite skeptical about the whole Swedish crockery phenomenon, but they had a nice design and I decided to try them. I used one for a couple of weeks until it completely stained the coffee, tossed it into a "sanitizing" wash cycle with my other towels, and washed the clothes with detergent and chlorine bleach. It looks brand new, the design hasn't even faded yet. They're thick and absorbent, a great way to reduce or eliminate the need for paper towels.
