Review on Delphi FG0340 Fuel Pump Module by Prince Burr

Perfect fit for my 2006 Silverado Z71 6.5" bed, extended cab. The original fuel pump ran for almost a year when the truck was only 1/4 tank and more recently she had trouble going from 1/2 to a full tank This pump should be as good as the original as Delphi is a Tier 1 GM supplier and was once part of GM The only part you will need in addition to the The pump you need to buy is the retaining ring. Revain recommends a retaining ring and an o-ring, but save $10 and don't use an o-ring as it comes with the fuel pump. The retaining ring is a one-time use, so not the old one reuse.For installation it is much easier to loosen the 8 bolts holding the bed and lift the bed rather than dropping the tank.I used a motor lift to straighten my bed on one side of the truck g lift it enough to get the old pump out and put the new one in.
