When I opened the box, I was more than skeptical. No instructions for some improvisation. I imagined the batter oozing out of the walls as I closed the handle and falling into my cooker. nope I put foil on the burner (just in case), turned the stove down to about 4 (medium-low?) and set it on it to preheat. Sprinkled with Pam (it turned out to be MANDATORY) and waited. They were fluffy and lightly browned, and not an ounce spilled out of the wafer sheets (and I filled one side to the brim before closing and snapping). It couldn't be easier. The handles are very close to the plates so keep them away from the burners or they will melt. Next time I won't use foil on the burner βΊοΈππ»ππ»
