Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Ravenna Navy Green Women's Shoes by Brooks - Stylish and Comfortable by Moises Dzihic

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The roomy sock is back! I love this update!

I have a narrow ankle and wide forefoot and the Ravenna 8 fits perfectly. I'm very excited to announce that the roomy sock is back in this update! I've been a fan of Ravenna since Rav. 4 model. I liked 4 and 5 but really didn't like 6 (oh everything about her hurt my leg) and 7 was so-so (better than 6 but still a bit tight in fingers and almost too hard sole ). ). My favorites were 5th place, but 8th place can take that first place. The heel stays tight, the toe box opens up, and there's a midfoot gap in the laces so you don't feel pressure on the upper. Your leg (I hope that makes sense). Also, the shoes are very soft and springy without feeling soft. I've heard someone compare them to the Asics Nimbus but in my experience the Nimbus is a soft shoe. Every other Ravenna, even my favorite 5, took a good week or two daily runs to break in. The Ravenna Eights worked right out of the box and my legs felt great after running 3, 5, 7 and 10 miles. own), I wear 10.5 medium/regular. I also have flat/low arches. I don't wear inserts, but I think there will be plenty of room for them in this update. This is a great shoe if you are a neutral runner or slightly overweight. My only negatives: They reduced the color options to 3. Navy/Purple, Silver/Purple, and Berry/Teal (the berry is pretty). but only at Zappos and Brooks that I've seen). The right heel seems a bit looser than the left. Of course it could be MY heel but I read someone else mentioned it on another page. I just tighten the laces a bit and everything is fine. The laces look a little shorter than in previous years. I tie my shoelaces in a jogger knot, and it's hardly enough to do it. Everything is minor, although otherwise an excellent update. Thanks Brooks for the great update, but please bring back more cool colors! I will definitely be buying them again and will probably stock up on as many pairs as my budget will allow.
