After asking questions I felt confident to order this product. I also saw this in the store (at a higher price). I didn't want to bend over the sewing machine because of the deterioration in my eyesight. The magnification head is a 2-7/8" circle with about an inch of the "sweet spot" at higher magnification. In fact, it should be slightly larger or rectangular in shape and not the best area. the whole thing has to be attached to the car with a small command bar that should be larger. the existing clip can't hold on any part of my car without interfering and the gooseneck is too short anyway. because the small circle distorts the view of the sewing needle area strongly. I would still end up hunched over and it would kill my neck and back. Getting old isn't fun, but this product doesn't help much.
