The 1 3/4" size fit most jeans, BDU's, etc., and provides substantial support for 2 loaded mag holders + a loaded M1911. This will be used primarily for IDPA competition but works just as well when wearing casual clothing for concealed carry.The nicest feature is the ability to get the belt tension just right, something that isn't always possible with a conventional buckle belt with holes. Pull it snug, lay the end over the velcro area & it's good to go.Two negatives - the belt is made in China, some similar belts like the Wilderness Instructor are USA made. And the velcro ends on mine needed a small amount of trimming so they wouldn't catch while putting on. All in all a very nice belt with typical 5.11 superb quality.
