The hairbrush came in a nice box as a gift. I didn't understand the hype about wooden combs and natural curls until I tried it. I'm a believer now. I have incredibly tight curls (4c for those who know what it is). I have found that when using wooden combs I don't pull my hair as much as I do with plastic combs. This comb is made of sandalwood, so if you like this scent like me, it smells nice. I would buy this again. I should point out that while this can be used on damp hair, dipping the comb in water is not recommended. It can also break, so if you drop something, stock up on it. This comb is thick and strong, so it may take a long time to break.
