After almost 30 years without embroidery I have decided to take up this hobby again. It wasn't until I bought it that I found out it was a Bothy Threads fake hence the one star removed from the review. For me, as for the "old beginner", it fits in all respects. Even though it wasn't pre-printed, the included template and instructions are simple enough for a beginner's project. It looks like there should be enough thread, the instructions are clear, and the pattern is simple and straightforward. Love the fact that the Aida is sewn/hemmed around the edges so you don't have to worry about fraying the fabric and the extra needle. It's bigger than I thought it would be, but overall I'm happy with the purchase.
