These are ideal for playing golf in the summertime. Not only do they keep me from getting a sunburn, but they actually have a little bit of a cooling effect. It's not super strong but is noticeable. I was worries that the black pair might absorb heat but that's not the case. I saw others complain about the condition of these after washing them. I've thrown them in the washer and dryer and have had no issues whatsoever. I bought the 6 pack (3 white and 3 black) and think they're a great deal! Very pleased!
