This bag is so beautiful that unfortunately you cannot fit your smartphone in it. I really want to keep this bag but due to its size I will never use it. I only need 1-2 inches tall and it will be the perfect evening bag. The seller states the size: 6.3 inches high x length (top 2.0 inches, bottom 5.5 inches) x width 3.9 inches elegant and my smartphone is 6 inches high but does not fit. 6.3 inches should be corner height. That's why it doesn't get 5 stars. The width is very roomy and you should be able to fit everything you need for the evening and I say all of this only matters if you're carrying a flip phone as again it's not big enough to carry put a smartphone in it.
